Implementation Manager

A new role created to own, lead and implement the Tag Management Solution (TMS Adobe Launch) approach for all supported Legal & General Insurance's (LGI) digital assets along with any data layer changes required to support LGI’s digital vision.

 

You will take the lead with technical tagging and data layer implementations to demonstrate best practise to the team, acting as a role model for technical excellence and developing the team to ensure succession and best practise is understood and executed.

 

Principal accountabilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of tagging and data layer implementations, including impact assessments,  the production of the specifications, design, robust test plans and post acceptance test approach, to deliver seamlessly and to a high quality for the Direct CRO team, marketing and partners (where appropriate)
  • Lead the team to deliver the way you demonstrate, through the display of high quality technical delivery alongside appropriate process and governance documentation,  with ongoing support and development of the team to deliver to expected standards
  • Work closely with the Optimisation and Conversion Analytics teams regarding priorities for new implementations, (including new tools,) changes to existing implementations and monthly data accuracy checks to ensure all processes are robust, effective and operated as BAU, alongside this trouble shooting support will be required as appropriate to enable delivery of the Direct roadmap and associated sales
  • Own the accuracy of the data captured in the Adobe suite, and all other tools supported (sessioncam, crazy egg and qualtrics as of today) to ensure that business decisions are made on a correct basis when using insight from these tools
  • Continue to develop existing technical skill set to ensure excellence is maintained, with focus on constant evolution of best practise adopted for existing tech stack, enabling the business to adapt to changes in browser settings/tech solutions, whilst maintaining data accuracy and continuity, so the assets are utilised effectively, integrations are understood and the conversion impacts are maximised by you and the team
  • Develop and maintain a strong internal network with Group Digital Operations team to ensure LGI agenda is well understood and supported and that the business has the opportunity to take a leading role in the deployment of any groups capability or assets being developed
  • Ensure all tags and implementations are completed in adherence with strict GDPR guidelines, and that future implementations are in line with PECR 2 requirements, complete Data Protection Impact Assessments for new data requests where appropriate (or support others to complete) to ensure all data is captured in accordance with group standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the company's policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area
  • This role is mostly home-based. It will require office work 2 days per week

Experience

  • Previous experience of leading a technical delivery team and managing workload and priorities is essential
  • Tagging & Tools – Essential proven technical experience
  • Fully conversant, skilled and proficient in the use of business analysis and tagging tools including ideally Adobe Launch
  • Expertise in web and mobile app analytics, optimisation and analytics tools
  • Expertise in Web and App Tagging / Pixels / Web Beacons and Tag Management systems
  • Experienced in analysing JavaScript, browser technology and cookie behaviour
  • Understanding and experience working with data layer ensuring accurate population of analytics data and other tools

  • Communication and influencing - Ability to communicate and influence to all levels of stakeholder.  Ability to communicate complex analytics issues to non-analytics stakeholders

 

Qualifications

 

Degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Digital or similar or equivalent experience preferred
