The Demand and Production Planning Manager supports diverse portfolios of IT services that support customers across the wider L&G business. They will produce a consolidated view of L&G Business Demand to inform decision making.

This role will ensure project/changes that may impact the customer organisation are understood and customers are represented in the appropriate forums.

This role may be asked to contribute to enterprise led projects to ensure that proposed changes to the landscape are thoroughly planned and the delivery of our Service portfolio will continue to operate effectively

Manage the pipeline of demand that is coming through from the broader business, Group IT and maintenance and currency projects. Conduct impact analysis and prioritisation of projects as they come through the pipe

Maintain holistic oversight across all platforms as to what is coming through the pipe, to ensure capacity can meet demand, in the form of a formalised Demand plan

Managing demand tension between business change and Group IT change, whilst maintaining ongoing support for BAU growth. Liaise across the Business to determine the volume of desired change

Responsible for ensuring the Service Catalogue is up to date, accurate and exhaustive. Marketing the Service portfolio, so that customers and potential customers are aware of the Services available.

Responsible for contributing to capacity, availability, problem management, change management and knowledge management activities within the team, and undertaking Continual Service Improvements as a day to day activity

Actively identify risks, ensure they are appropriately logged and tracked at the appropriate forums, and take appropriate action to mitigate or resolve

Define, develop and deliver processes and systems to ensure a consistent and good level of service that means customers’ expectations are met, is consistent with what we have communicated and is aligned to L&G’s Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policy

Continually work to build effective, positive working relationships with both our Third Party Service providers and the wider IT communities, to enable us to deliver a fantastic customer service and be viewed as a single, valued IT partner.

Qualifications:

ITIL Certification is highly desirable, up to Expert level

Knowledge:

Direct experience of managing supplier relationships

Experience of IT Operations Management based on industry leading frameworks of ITIL, ideally in an outsourced environment

Knowledge and experience of working with SLA/OLA/KPI’s to measure and manage Supplier Service performance

Skills:

Have experience of working in a SIAM model

Have significant experience of managing service delivery, balancing workload demands whilst ensuring service obligations and performance obligations

Strong Excel and analysis skills
