We have an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who uses their own initiative with sales experience to join our team in Cardiff as a Telephone account Manager.

The working hours for the role will be 35hrs a week Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.

The key responsibilities of the role are

  • To achieve agreed account performance targets, through building business relationships at all levels with allocated accounts.
  • To establish, define and maintain a business plan to drive account development, relationship management and product promotion.
  • To demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written form.
  • To influence account strategy development by collating and feeding market intelligence to your accounts and colleagues.
  • To work in an effective partnership with all colleagues in Intermediated Division and across the wider Legal & General business.
  • To respond to and take ownership of pre submission related enquiries, ensuring accounts are furnished with the information needed to fulfil their enquiry.
  • To maintain a high level of knowledge of competitor and own products and propositions, as well as industry and market place awareness.
  • To Interact with accounts, and handle any customer complaints in difficult and sensitive situations with sympathy and empathy in order to resolve customer queries.

To be successful for the role the skills required are:

  • Previous Account management experience Desirable
  • Sales experience
  • RO1 & RO5 qualified desirable
  • Previous experience with Intermediary market, IFA’s desirable
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who uses their own initiative
  • Takes pride in delivering expected outcomes
  • Effective communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with targets
  • Able to plan and organise their time and workflow
  • IT literate
