The role holder will be responsible for translating business functional and non-functional requirements into system design recommendations for implementation in compliance with the Legal & General Retirement project management and SDLC governance framework.

The role holder will be responsible for translating business functional and non-functional requirements into system design recommendations for implementation in compliance with the LGR project management and SDLC governance framework. Completing these activities in a timely and effective manner will contribute to LGR’s continued financial growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Analyse existing IT systems and business models and map and document
  • Analyse systems requirements and produce systems analysis documentation
  • Interact and communicate with business, architecture, development third parties and stakeholders
  • Implement, configure and test feasible solutions,understanding software development lifecycles
  • Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
  • Deliver small projects/changes into production following department project methodology/ Keep up to date with technical and industry developments
  • Translating client requirements into specified project briefs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2.1 Batchelor of Science or Master of Science subject; Technology, Science, Engineering etc.

Knowledge:

  • Awareness of technology change and release processes.
  • Understanding of ITIL (information Technology Infrastructure Library) a benefit.
  • An exposure to service management or coding 

Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Digital literacy and understanding of  technology innovation
  • Time management
  • Ability to drive LGR Digital culture acting as a brand ambassador within L&G.
