Data Quality Analyst will improve data within the team’s capability by embedding a framework that tracks, monitors and controls the quality of information used by the LGI.

We need you to have a talent for spotting a problem with data how it connects and links together and being able to describe what that might mean to our business stakeholders. The money it might waste, the commercial opportunities it could miss.
Your ability to spot this, shape the tooling we use to identify and then make that visually useful will be the starting point. The reason you will do this is that it provides our customers who will be both internal and partners with confidence and trust in data, which is after all really important.
In terms of reporting lines this role sits in our governance and quality team.
What we are looking for:
- Someone who might like to turn poacher from gamekeeper, spotting the deliberate mistakes that data engineers or developers place within their coding just to keep you on your toes. You will enjoy holding them to account for those surprises
- Strong knowledge of SQL and databases so that you can lift this knowledge out
- QA testing experience will be a set of skills that can naturally be tweaked to this role, so if you are doing that think we want a chat
- You want to understand the business, some problems won’t be those engineers it will be the individuals that input, and we’ll want your help in improving this
- Someone who is authentic and credible you’re not afraid to have conflicting opinions, after all we want you for your intelligence, creativity and skills
- Previous experience in Visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Birst, Qilk or similar
- Experience of technologies in this list: Snowflake, Wherescape, MSSQL, Redgate, Data Ladder, Dataflux
- Experience of automating testing or certification in testing
- Data quality tooling: Data Ladder, Syncsort, Informatica, Talend, SAS
