Digital Analyst

·         Reporting to the Head of Content, this role will work collaboratively with internal and 3rd party development teams across the business to implement and configure AB / MVT tests, as well as managing the rollout of L&G’s strategic Artificial Intelligence capability through webchat and knowledge base channels

·         Insight:  Working with the insight analyst to support the business in investigating and assessing customer behaviour and platform performance to fully understand the existing pain points and opportunities to optimise the current journey for personalisation and AI capability

·         Support the business in shaping, defining and implementing their optimisation and AI initiatives

·         Hypothesis: Proactively form hypothesis to act as the catalyst for test & learn experiments from insights and recommendations taking successful tests to BAU and ensuring maximum insight is gained from failed tests

·         Benefits Realisation:  Work closely with the Group Digital Product Managers and change community to report on benefits realisation for personalisation and AI capability from both project delivery and optimisation programmes

·         Visualisations:  Prepare insight presentations that are creative and engaging, and present results of tests and potential impacts to stakeholders in the form of recommendations that can be actioned

·         Collaboration: Working with key contacts across the business to promote the benefits of testing and ensure that best practice is embedded throughout the business.  Close working with business areas who are implementing AI capabilities to ensure join-up of processes, technology and capability across group

·        Governance: This role will have responsibility for developing the governance processes for testing and for new AI tools across the whole business and ensuring that all defined process are maintained and improved necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Track record of delivery in a commercial web analytics / digital insight team
  • Experience working with testing and personalisation tools, preferably Adobe Target, as well as Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (Live Chat/Knowledge Base/Voice/virtual customer assistant) applications and building insight reports desirable
  • Experience working with digital analytics tools and a good understanding of the analytics industry
  • Experience of using voice of the customer data to drive insight
  • Experience of BI reporting and data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau
  • Experience working in matrix management structure

 

Skills

  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and present findings in an engaging way that adapts to their audience
  • Ability to communicate to and manage stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter to audiences with varying technical understanding
  • Project management skills would be beneficial
