The Quality Assurance Analyst will support the Quality Assurance Manager in the delivery of the Quality Assurance Objectives. The role requires you to conduct QA reviews in line with LGHF Quality Assurance Policy. You will ensure that reviews are conducted impartially and fairly and that accurate and concise records are maintained.

  • Conduct analysis as required to assess and report on business quality inclusive of internal process checks.
  • Take a consistent and fair approach to assess quality and risks, utilising the data from management information reports.
  • Take ownership to ensure accurate, clear and concise record keeping to effectively capture MI for monitoring and improvement purposes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of LGHF policies and procedures across all business areas in order to assess business quality and adherence to standards.
  • Build and maintain a strong internal network to enable information gathering as required and to ensure that QA related issues can be effectively communicated and discussed cross functionally.
  • Provide regular updates to the Quality Assurance Manager regarding noticed trends or areas of concern.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to LGHF policies and processes, to enhance business quality and reduce risk.
  • Where required, support the wider Product team functions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Quality Assurance experience working in a financial services environment preferable.

Knowledge:

  • Technical knowledge of mortgages and/or lifetime mortgage lending would be an advantage, especially knowledge of the FCA Mortgages and Mortgage Conduct of Business sourcebook (MCOB).

Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience.
  • Confidence to make decisions often under pressure and exercise judgment using your initiative.
  • Analytical skills to investigate potential complex cases, working with other areas of the business to assess information.
  • The ability to create good working relationships, a good team player, contributing ideas and putting team objectives first.
