We are looking to hire a B2B Marketing Consultant to oversee the digital strategy for intermediary channels by planning and executing the digital elements of marketing campaigns; including the design, maintenance and content optimisation of the adviser centre.

Purpose:

To oversee the digital strategy for intermediary channel by planning and executing the digital elements of marketing campaigns; including the design, maintenance and content optimisation of the adviser centre.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To develop and manage the digital strategy, driving traffic to the adviser centre in line with business objectives.
  • To manage and maintain the adviser centre and microsites, fixing errors or bugs to ensure business continuity.
  • To track, analyse and report on website traffic, optimising adviser journeys to increase engagement and conversion.
  • To deliver and optimise online content, working with marketing team to ensure successfully delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • To develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures.
  • To measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against campaign goals.
  • To review competitor offerings, recommending improvements to keep the online offering in line with competitors.
  • To identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure intermediary is at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Web Trends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Experience of delivery of propositions to different customer segments
  • Experience of the creative process and briefing agencies to clearly defined set of objectives
  • Understanding of the risk and regulatory environment in which the financial services industry operates; and the impact it has on marketing communications
  • Demonstrable experience managing digital advertising campaigns

  • Communication - Be able to communicate clearly and confidently with internal colleagues and external business clients. To cover written, oral and presentation skills but at all times clear, concise, accurate and timely. Ability to influence and persuade particularly in relation to approvals.
  • Accuracy - A keen attention to detail, checking work or supporting data for errors or omissions.
