Work with Structuring Manager to drive forward new structured investment initiatives and undertake on-going monitoring and management of existing structured investments for the LGRI business
Purpose
Work with Structuring Manager to drive forward new structured investment initiatives and undertake on-going monitoring and management of existing structured investments for the LGRI business
Principal Accountabilities
Work with Structuring Manager in the structuring and execution of new structured investment initiatives, particularly secured funding, repacks, credit linked notes, and structured derivatives
Support in the production of in depth analysis and business case for new structured investment initiatives by analysing competitive landscape, macro environment, market size, sector/market dislocation or relative value, opportunity window, risk/return profile, producing sensitivity analysis to market risk factors
Collaborate with Finance team in the production of capital modelling framework under Solvency II for new structured investment initiatives
Collaborate with Analytics team and LGIM Operations team to ensure end to end implementation of new structured investment initiatives
Support production of pricing models/framework for new investment initiatives/transactions
Manage internal/external reporting/monitoring processes of existing structured investments/vehicles
Ensure principles of Conduct Risk are embedded in day to day operations including treating customers fairly in line with firm objectives
Keep up to date with and understand developments in fixed income market, regulatory changes such at Solvency II and changes in accounting regimes that could affect investment markets
Qualifications
Essential: Undergraduate degree in quantitative subject such as Math, Physics, Finance, Computer Science etc or a degree in Accounting or Management
Desirable: CFA Level II or III
Knowledge
Familiar with valuation or pricing of Fixed Income products such as Interest Rate Swaps, Bonds, Credit Derivatives etc
Experience in a Fixed Income product development, structuring, reporting or implementation role at a bank, insurer, asset manager or consulting firm
Ideally involved in set up of special purpose vehicles or involved in EMTN programmes that allow investors to gain exposure to market risks (rates, credit, equity, etc) in a note format
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and delivering results on time
Skills
Modelling skills in Excel
Power point and report writing skills
Creative problem solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail and ability to grasp complex concepts
Working as part of an agile team
Awareness (and ideally some knowledge) of digital solutions to drive process improvement

This means we would consider a more flexible working arrangement, where your hours and work location are managed according to business, customer and personal needs. For this role you would be based in our London Office, but you could work in other Legal and General offices or at home, as necessary, provided this meets business needs.
