LGR currently have a great opportunity for a DB Pensions Specialist looking to move into a learning and development role.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and Legal & General retirement products.

LGR currently have a great opportunity for a DB Pensions Specialist looking to move into a learning and development role.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and Legal & General retirement products.

Job Duties:

  • To deliver an appropriate range of defined benefit pensions training for group or individuals in the business area
  • To deliver an appropriate range of skills and knowledge training for group or individuals.  This includes the delivery of skills, behavioural, product, technical or IT based training to all levels in the business area
  • To produce training solutions according to a schedule, gaining approval and sign off from the appropriate stakeholders
  • To act as a product/technical adviser to management and team members and to ensure own knowledge of regulation and product changes is constantly updated to be able to further advise the department
  • To liaise with management and the support teams to ensure suitable training is identified, planned and agreed  in accordance to business needs and staff training needs
  • To produce Management Information for quality and training results for publication within the department
  • To provide guidance and developmental support to staff within the area

Required skills/experience:

  • Understands and can explain the key features of defined benefit pension schemes
  • Strong presentation skills - Able to amend style of delivery to suit the audience
  • Good planning and organisational skills

Desirable skills/experience:

  • PMI/ CII qualifications or equivalent qualification
