We are looning to recruit a Client Solutions Technical Manager to join our London office

  1. Support the development and launching of innovations to the risk transfer market. In particular, take a lead role in:

    carrying out feasibility and market testing, including the relevant internal and external stakeholders

    pricing and analysing the economics for new propositions

    ensuring that innovations are taken through appropriate governance processes

    developing the frameworks, processes and modelling required for financial and statutory reporting, business operations and risk management purposes.

  2. Support the Core and Strategic PRT teams as necessary with the delivery of innovations on live deals, including support on the pricing of deals and associated governance processes.
  3. Maintain and enhance the standing of L&G within the PRT market, in particular ensuring that L&G is seen as professional, proactive, and offering innovative solutions.
  4. Support the continued development of L&G within the buyout market / insured de-risking market
  5. Participate, where appropriate, in beauty parades/pitches to consultants and trustees, and confidently present the Legal & General proposition
  1. Qualified Actuary;
  2. Extensive knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS (incl. IFRS17), pricing of buy-in / buy-out business and capital modelling;
  3. Previous experience of adapting to new projects or situations by the development and implementation of new, non-standard and innovative solutions;
  4. A track record of effective delegation and supervision of complex tasks;
  5. Strong sales experience and/or presentation skills; and
  6. Exceptional project management skills and time management with a track record of leading on complex projects within short timescales.
