A fantastic opportunity to join us as a Digital Marketing Consultant and be responsilbe for the successful delivery of our online media plan, work on and implement our social media strategy and continually drive business improvements.

  • Delivery of the online media plan via paid media channels (PPC, Display, Affiliates)
  • Responsible for the reporting and analysis of online marketing channels
  • Implement the onsite & offsite SEO strategy, building out backlinks via bloggers and third parties and defining/implementing digital content
  • Develop and implement a social content calendar and engagement strategy for social media, to drive awareness of L&G GI products and brand engagement
  • Work with the digital agency to develop a strong creative for digital display that provides standout and cut through which maximises CTRs and traffic to site
  • Work closely with the digital agency to ensure that digital marketing activity delivers target sales at the target CPA, and identify areas for increased efficiency
  • Work closely with the Web Analytics Manager to analyse digital marketing performance and purchase funnel conversion
  • Provide marketing insights to Head of Ecommerce to support marketing strategy
  • Continually track digital marketing best practice and bring insights to the team to aid test and learn activity
  • Work closely with approvals to ensure that all customer facing communications and propositions are compliant
  • Knowledge & demonstrable success in a digital marketing role for at least 2-3 years
  • Proven experience of developing multi-channel digital campaigns across PPC, Display, Affiliates and Social
  • Experience of Google AdWords
  • Analytical skills using reporting platforms such as Google/Adobe Analytics
  • Experience of a digital marketing role within retail sector would be an advantage
  • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to couple business goals with customer needs and translate into highly effective digital strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to deliver outcomes
  • Strong budget, agency and people management skills
  • Managing and interpreting customer intelligence to enable business improvements
  • Regulatory environment and delivering positive customer outcomes
  • The financial services market in the UK
  • Strategic planning and financial awareness and departmental budget management
  • Firm, risk, compliance & governance regulations
  • Group policies and procedures
  • Departmental systems, process and procedures, including potential future developments that could impact the business
  • L&G’s people management practices, structures and networks
