A great opportunity to join us and lead and execute the B2B communications and marketing strategy for G.I product lines, defining and executing the communication, the channel and frequency based on the partner and business need. 

  • Innovate and execute the B2B communications and marketing strategy for G.I product lines, defining and executing the communication, the channel and frequency based on the partner & business need.  Define and lead the communications strategy and marketing optimisation of existing Bank and Building Society partners, to aid new business sales targets.
  • Provide strategic marketing leadership to Affinity partners, whilst generating new affinity opportunities through the creation of compelling tender documents to help win new affinity deals.
  • Collaboratively work with the Broker and Intermediary teams to understand their needs and define a marketing/communication strategy that best serves Broker and Intermediary partners & the business. 
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and B2B partners to ensure that L&G remains the G.I partner of choice. 
  • Influence the development of new products or enhancements for the B2B and partner audiences and own marketing strategies to take these to market in a creative  and impactful way.
  • Understand customer segments of the partners and develop customer personas, to help create the right message for the right audience.  Analyse all aspects of the B2B marketing funnel and identify opportunities for maximising sales and marketing ROI.
  • Develop a B2B marketing digital strategy, to provide quicker speed to market, real-time insights and improved marketing efficiency.  Identify B2B awards that G.I should be targeting and create submissions with the view of winning awards to use as part of marketing messages.
  • Own NPS scores for the GI Direct business and work with the customer experience team to identify areas for customer journey improvement.  Work closely with approvals to ensure that all customer facing communications and propositions are compliant.
  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels in a manner that is consistent with the company's policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise their potential, their engagement and their contribution to the business. 
  • Build, lead, coach and develop an effective B2B marketing team and as part of the GI Marketing Senior leadership team collaboratively shape and define the culture and working practices for all colleagues to raise the overall capability for the Insurance Marketing function.
  • Commission appropriate research to enable the development of products that meet customers’ needs at an appropriate cost and which promote Legal & General’s image as a firm where the fair treatment of customers is central to the corporate culture.
  • Solid experience of planning and executing B2B marketing campaigns – utilising both your digital and traditional marketing expertise.
  • An innovative and creative marketer with experience of producing engaging and insightful content across multiple channels.
  • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to couple business goals with customer needs and translate into highly effective marketing messages that deliver standout (market differentiation).
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong budget, agency and people management skills.
  • Managing and interpreting customer intelligence to enable business improvements.
  • Regulatory environment and delivering positive customer outcomes.
  • The financial services market.
  • Strategic planning and financial awareness and departmental budget management.
