We're currently recruiting for a Communications & Engagement Manager in our Cardiff office.

Employee Engagement

Support, shape and manage the operational employee engagement plans and interventions; co-ordinate reward & recognition processes and budgets

Track and monitor employee engagement and completion of the annual employee engagement survey.

Provide guidance and support to enable the business and individual mangers to act on survey outputs and drive improvements.

Engage with employees, managers and key stakeholders to help create solutions which fit with the business values and organisational culture

Develop and manage an evaluation programme, which benchmarks the effectiveness of internal employee engagement activities against core measures

Communications

Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of an employee communications strategy that broadens awareness of strategy, milestones and mission, promotes visible and trusted leadership as well as strengthening employee engagement and retention.

Work with the entire department to develop a communication calendar for both internal and external events. Manage the delivery of this plan in order to maximise both the effectiveness of communications and employee engagement

Create compelling, engaging and regular content to post on our intranet

Provide support and guidance on internal communications projects and events, including internal events for new client acquisition, product launches, employee recognition, leadership events, implementation of new technologies and other programs/events; as well as preparing presentations and other communications materials.

Measure the effectiveness of all internal and external communications to ensure all are consistent and effective, making recommendations where appropriate.

 

Demonstrable experience of:

Understanding what motivates people and how to craft innovative, appealing, targeted and effective communications that create engagement

Devising and managing internal communications, using varying styles, demonstrating excellent writing skills and a creative and/or innovative flair

Understanding ‘what works’ for different audiences whilst providing a consistent message

Working and communicating effectively across all levels of an organisation and successfully engaging with a highly diverse workforce

Creating and sustaining relationships with diverse stakeholders and challenging senior people, in the right way, when you think it’s needed

Dealing with ambiguity, showing flexibility and adaptation to change.

Bringing new and fresh ideas as well as the skills and ability to deliver at a consistently high quality, high value work

Delivering successful employee engagement initiatives that deliver a tangible uplift in employee engagement and retention
