We are looking for a Digital Communications Executive to join us on a 3-6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Manage the process of definition of high level business requirements for ecommerce systems improvements so that clear requirements can be passed across to LGIM DC Pensions change teams in accordance with L&G’s change management procedures
Coordinate and manage Production Acceptance Testing / Business Acceptance Testing for system releases and changes so that project deliverables meet project objectives, budget and defined timescales thereby achieving stated delivery targets
Coordinate and manage resolution activity when ecommerce incidents arise, ensuring that internal and external customers are fully informed in order that customer impact is minimised
Monitor and manage the development of online demonstrations accessible from key websites in order that internal and external customers are given the most accurate view of the online proposition and that in turn end customers engage with self-service, and new business opportunities are maximised
Manage web content whilst ensuring that compliance & TCF guidelines are adhered to, leading to the maximisation of digital presence and in turn user engagement, bringing improvements in customer satisfaction, new business success, and ongoing client retention
Maintain and develop relationships with third party suppliers to ensure that online services provided to end customers within the LGIM DC Pensions customer portfolio are robust and efficient, thereby maximising new business opportunities and continuing to deliver customer benefits in line with the DC vision
Ensure compliance with Advertising Standards approval in order that all e-applications are compliant with FSA & TCF regulatory requirements and LGIM maximises its online capability whilst conforming to the regulatory framework
Research, construct and manage the delivery of business cases to support the continued development of strategic Digital propositions, ensuring the business benefits and costs are correctly identified and communicated to senior stakeholders to enable sign off
Knowledge:
A financial services background is an advantage
Good awareness of LGIM products and services, of competitors and market developments is an advantage
Broad understanding of industry frameworks - regulatory, legislative and financial - as they impact at business, organisation & corporate level
Broad digital experience
Experience in production and maintenance of mainframe and ecommerce processes and systems
Detailed knowledge and understanding of mainframe and online systems and structures across LGIM DC Pensions Workplace and the dependencies between these
Understanding of key external systems interfaces that impact across the organisation
Skills:
An excellent standard of written and spoken English, the ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work independently and to take ownership of tasks
Excellent knowledge of Content Management Systems
Basic HTML editing skills advantageous
Highly organised. Able to deal with multiple tasks at the same time
Ability to proof read with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines
