You will support the Operational Risk Director and Head of Conduct Risk in the monitoring and oversight of risk across the LGR business.

  • The purpose of the role is to support the Operational Risk Director and Head of Conduct Risk in the monitoring and oversight of risk across the LGR business.
  • To support the production of risk reporting and MI across LGR.
  • To work as part of the LGR Risk team supporting other activities to ensure it fulfils all its obligations
  • To support to the Operational and Conduct Risk teams in providing business management with advice and challenge on implementing and embedding the Group Risk policy and framework requirements
  • To ensure risk data is collated and analysed in an accurate and timely manner in support of root cause analysis, trends, QA purposes, etc
  • For risk governance in LGR, liaise with other members of the CRO team to co-ordinate data gathering and prepare reports / MI packs for review. Organise distribution of reports and co-ordinate actions taken from governance forums.
  • Monitor risk events to ensure these are appropriately actioned, recorded and escalated. Liaise with the other Risk teams as appropriate to agree engagement and resolution of key issues.
  • Support LGR in the completion of risk and control self assessments by helping to facilitate risk workshops and scenario analysis workshops. Provide risk training to 1st line in conjunction with support from other members of the Operational Risk and Conduct Risk teams.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the use of the OSX risk management system and provide reports and analysis of the information therein.
  • Ensure business areas undertake control attestations in a timely manner and that issues are escalated and reported as necessary. Support the business in implementing and embedding the risk framework and key risk polices to allow them to identify, quantify, monitor and control or mitigate risks
  • Monitor the Risk area’s input to the PLM (Product Proposition and Fund Lifecycle Management) to ensure provision of risk advice and guidance in support of key projects and product developments.
  • Ensure that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day to day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times. Ensure that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk
  • Preparation of Reports for Management
  • Data Analysis and MI reporting
  • Preparation of reports for senior management committees
  • Scheduling and coordination with multiple parties
  • Helping to plan and facilitate workshops
