We are recruiting for a Operational Communications Executive

  • Support the Head of Operational Communications as directed with the development of an operational communications plan for both online and offline post sale communications across the full product range
  • Deliver all post sale communications whilst monitoring data trends and seeking to continuously improve the proposition, process, and cost effectiveness of production
  • Continuously improve each piece of communication such that a high quality and engaging range of post-sale communications is in place
  • Oversee the preparation and fulfilment of bulk customer mailing and other literature requests, ensuring quality and timeliness whilst maintaining cost effectiveness
  • Actively develop strong working relationships with Operations, Change and Distribution colleagues, working in tandem with them on shared projects and objectives
  • Work effectively at all times with relevant colleagues and stakeholders across LGIM and the Group including those within Product, Investment, Brand, Advertising Standards, Legal, and Compliance teams
  • Ensure the principles of Treating Customers Fairly are central to all activities within the team and that items delivered provide customers with clear, appropriate and educational information before, during and after sale
  • Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the company’s policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area

Qualifications:

A good standard of education is required

A professional qualification relevant to the role is an advantage

 

Knowledge:

  • Experience in leading a small client communications or marketing team within a provider, asset manager and/or EBC is preferred
  • A track record of creation and delivery of financial services marketing plans and communication items

Good knowledge is preferred of:

  • The DC market place
  • LGIM’s products and services
  • Our competitors
  • The compliance and documentary processes needed to ensure financial promotion approval

Skills:

  • Good line management skills
  • Good bundled pension & investment fund product awareness
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate and convey detailed and technical information in a creative and engaging way on the page
  • Supplier management and third party relationship development and oversight
  • Highly organised. Able to deal with multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills
