A fantastic opportunity has arisen for somebody to join L&G’s IFRS17 Programme to drive the end-to end global design and implementation of our life insurance financial reporting processes and controls.  

  • To lead IFRS 17 Programme Process, Controls and Organisation Design workpackage within the Global Implementation workstream
  • To provide guidance to and work with other workstreams of the programme on the completeness and consistency of Process Controls & Organisation Design aspects of the end to end design.​
  • To identify & remedy any gaps on all PC&O aspects of the end to end design through interaction with workstreams in ongoing working groups and workshops.​
  • To get formal sign-off for PC&O components of  Detailed Design Documents. 
  • Qualified actuary with significant post qualification experience in the Life Insurance industry (essential)
  • Good knowledge of the financial reporting of life assurance business and the products and metrics involved
  • Experienced in stakeholder management
  • Experience in communicating with senior management on both technical and non-technical matters
  • Experience of participating in change deliveries i.e. displaying the ability to participate in change
  • Basic understanding of IFRS17
