We are recruiting for a Group Brand Content Manager for a 6 month fixed term contract to support the Group Executive team, collaborating with Group Communications, CSR, Investor Relations and Group Brand, in the delivery of communications for use both externally and internally. Build and manage working relationships with UK and international business’ communications teams in order to promote collaboration across the Group.

Work closely with the Group Head of Social Media and Content / PR colleagues to produce an engaging content calendar across our digital channels including all social media channels and the group website. When required, take the lead on content creation and seek relevant approvals internally. Support the Group Head of Social Media and Content on content strategy, and assist with analysis of performance of content in terms of reach and engagement.

Use technical and creative skills to manage the Group website: https://www.legalandgeneralgroup.com, including writing copy, developing photography and video content, planning the site’s architecture and updating and refreshing web pages. Manage the supplier relationship with website agency. Report on the effectiveness of the Group website and develop on-going optimisation based on these insights. Provide timely ad-hoc support in the event of a crisis in terms of updating the Group website

Support the Group Head of Social Media and Content in developing and managing the coordination of all content tasks related to any brand campaigns, briefing agency partners and managing internal approvals. Support Social Media Management and Group Brand Management in delivering key projects – working with external agencies, third party media partners and internal teams

Use creative web-design skills and knowledge of creative programmes within Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to help further develop branded materials for use across print and digital. Liaise closely with video production companies to develop transformative, engaging video content.

Social media delivery: supporting the implementation of the social media strategy, both developing and delivering campaigns that are engaging and effective, including liaising and briefing internal departments and external agencies to ensure success of marketing plans. 

Paid social media: management of campaigns from end-to-end, including paid media amplification and targeting. Social media analytics to own and improve our regular social media reporting and approach to analytics.

Degree or appropriate work experience in a communications role

Knowledge of effective digital communications and web development tools and creative skills in writing and developing communications material

Several years’ experience in communications, preferably in a regulated environment
