We have an excellent opportunity for a PA to support our Head of Customer & Client Operations in Cardiff. The successful candidate will thrive on having a varied range of accountabilities and enjoy being part of a fast paced environment.

1. Provide a full range of personal services to the Head of Customer & Client Operations. This will include having full control of the diary and the authority to make changes and arrange meetings on the behalf of the Head of CCO. Being aware of all potential movements and appointments and keeping the Head of CCO informed of all appointments and arrangements.

2. Producing and preparing Board/committee papers, agendas & minutes etc, and Powerpoint presentations as necessary and Excel spreadsheets to a high standard in order to facilitate communication. Ensuring all papers are provided on a timely basis

3. Arranging Offsites & Strategy days for the Head of Customer & Client Operations, this will include all UK business travel and accommodation.  This will also include first class support for Client visits and pitches in the Cardiff office.

4. Provide prompt, professional and courteous support to any enquiry from any internal or external customer including Board members and external Executive Directors. Assess the nature, confidentiality and urgency of issue, taking action where necessary.

5. Administration: Initiate payment of invoices/expenses using GFAS and dealing with queries which subsequently arise. Keep accurate and confidential records in respect of staff holidays, sickness, expenses, corporate hospitality and entertaining etc in order that the Head of Customer & Client Operations and the Senior Leadership Team are accurate and comply with company polices

6. Working on own initiative to provide office management services to the Head of Customer & Client Operations including, organisation charts, distribution lists, stationary ordering, managing internal and external events.

7. Engaging and providing assistance to the other PA’s within LGIM and
Cardiff location and cover where needed.

8. Ensure alignment to L&G’s Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy.

 

  • Previous experience of supporting at Director level is highly desirable
  • Able to communicate at all levels and build key relationships with stakeholders and clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resiliance under pressure
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently
  • Competent in the use of Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Advanced user of Word/Powerpoint/Outlook
  • Analytical skills required to summarise key action points for HOD
  • Understands the business strategy objectives, governance and inter-relationships between different areas of the organistion and external organisations.
  • Deal confidently with any issues that arise and resolve, delegate or escalate as appropriate.
  • Able to work independently
  • Confident in dealing with numerate data and analytics
  • Needs to be highly organised with a proven ability to prioritise workload, meet deadline and utilise time effectively.
  • Prepare all relevant documentation for HOD daily meetings/calls/presentations
