The Learning & Development Consultant will identify and deliver key L&D activities, provide an effective and efficient service to improve business standards.

The Learning & Development Consultant will identify and deliver key L&D activities, provide an effective and efficient service to improve business standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of a robust L&D programme that includes the ability to monitor individuals performance and measure performance
  • Support the L&D Manager to design and deliver training material to a high standard adhering to governance, legislative and business standards.
  • Support employee career development by working closely with the L&D Manager to deliver the frameworks
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business and business environment including legislative and regulatory standards
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with all colleagues to encourage and promote the L&D culture across all areas of the business
  • Maintain training records, trackers and details of training costs, ensuring they are up to date and accurate, reporting figures to the L&D Manager on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring the administrative activities of training events run smoothly, including room bookings, room preparation and delegate lists
  • Technical knowledge of mortgages and/or lifetime mortgage lending (beneficial)
  • An understanding of “Treating Customers Fairly” and an understanding of customer vulnerability
  • Previous Learning and Development experience working in a financial services environment (beneficial)
