The Group Conduct Risk Monitoring team is part of the Group CRO team.  

Identify relevant risks within a specified division and design and deliver a program of conduct risk monitoring activity within that area in the timeframes and scope as agreed with the Monitoring Director.

Develop and update a comprehensive suite of MI that provides stakeholders with a clear view of justification for planned monitoring activity and the outcome of reviews completed within an agreed area.

Ensure that all work is adequately planned for and that all known risks are identified and documented prior to the commencement of any monitoring activity.

Lead on all interview and debrief activity in relation to Monitoring reviews you are responsible for. Debriefs will largely be conducted without the need of management support.

Ensure that investigations and remediation activity is completed to a high standard and that root cause has been learnt from and documented to a standard that can be relied upon

Maintain effective relationships with the business at all levels to enable the delivery of practical solutions to problems or the implementation of improved systems, processes or controls

Advanced knowledge of the FCA handbook, rules and principles is absolutely essential.

Relevant financial services compliance or conduct risk experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
